Desktop

  1. Ensure you are in the Certificate Browser, this can be achieved by closing any certificates and selecting the Existing Certs icon on the toolbar.

  2. Select File-BackUp. This will display the Save As dialog

  3. Navigate to the location you wish to store the FastTest BackUp database.

  4. The FastTest BackUp File name will always default the current date and time stamp to ensure data preservation and reduce the potential of overwriting previously saved databases.

  5. The File name can be edited to suite your needs, but the Save as type field must remain as “compressed Files(*zip;)”, otherwise the database may not be compatible to restore back into FastTest at a later date rendering it incompatable with the application.

  6. Upon selecting the appropriate location to save the BackUp, select Save. You will now see the FastTest BackUp progress bar.
